Deep Purple has released the first single from their new album that's due out in July of this year!
Guitarist Simon McBride says the album "reflects what the five of us create in the rehearsal room. Many of the songs, like this new one, were written in the first sessions and literally came together in five or 10 minutes. It all was so easy and natural.”
And singer Ian Gillan adds, "Throughout Deep Purple’s history, our best songs have always been those that were written in no time at all. We’ve played what felt good and developed songs as we have always done.”
The track is called "Portable Door" and you can check out the music video below or on the band's YouTube channel.
The album is titled "=1" and is set to drop on July 19th.
