SUNY New Paltz Alumni makes children's book about COVID

SUNY New Paltz Alumni made a children's book called “The Way the World Changed” about COVID. This books helps children understand COVID. The Alumni's name is Taylor Faith Krigsman ’15 (Early Childhood Education: English).

The book was released to the public on May 24th. This marks Krigsman's 3rd book.

The book is about a little girl named Mari and her family who is dealing with having their lives changed in many ways due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Three generations of Mari’s family have been impacted in the book, her and her brother, her parents and grandparents, even including a cute little dog. Through the book the main character, Mari, learns many ways to deal with the sudden changes in her and her families life.

The illustrations in the book were done by Krigsman's friend and co-worker Ashlynn Marie Lilly.
