36 Corvettes Will Be Given Away

Who would like a classic Corvette?

36 classic Corvettes - models dating from 1953 to 1989, one for each year - will be given away in 2020 by a group called Corvette Heroes. The sweepstakes will benefit the National Guard Education Foundation.

According to the New York Times, The Vettes have been parked in one New York City parking garage or another for years. The cars were once the property of artist Peter Max. There's quite a complicated story behind the collection. One ticket — one chance to win one of the Corvettes — costs $3.
