Woodstock 50th Kick Off at Bethel Woods [Recap]

Well Woodstock's 50th anniversary is in the books...

We had a great time at Bethel Woods this past Friday, Aug 16 for the kick off to the Woodstock 50th anniversary. Me (Tigman) and Rockin Richie were on site and set up around Noon for a live broadcast that afternoon and were there all day into the evening hours. We finally got to cross another one off the bucketlist seeing the legendary Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. The day started with live music on the Alfalfa Stage from rockabilly rockers Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones from Kingston, NY. Thunderstorms rolling through the area unfortunately cut their set short and everyone had to seek shelter for awhile. After the rain passed, we we were able to roam the grounds and check out some of the vendors. Live music on the pavilion stage started around 7pm with Ringo's opening acts: Edgar Winter Band and Blood, Sweat & Tears. Both bands's put on great sets. Ringo Starr and His All-Star Band were great! Check out Ringo Starr's setlist courtesy of setlist.fm here. Lots of Beatles classics, Ringo solo tunes and other popular hits from Toto, Men at Work, Santana and more. It was great to celebrate the milestone anniversary of Woodstock where it all originally took place. Check out some photos from Friday's festivities in the photo gallery below.
