Grim Reaper Rocks The Chance This Saturday

80's metal band Grim Reaper led by Steve Grimmett will play The Chance in Poughkeepsie this Saturday night, Aug. 24 at 7:30pm.

British heavy metal band Grim Reaper was formed out of Droitwich, England in 1979 by guitarist Nick Bowcott. The band was discovered after winning a Battle of the Bands competition that featured over 100 bands. Their debut album See You in Hell was released in 1984 and distributed worldwide through RCA Records. The current band lineup features original singer Steve Grimmett with guitarist Ian Nash, bassist Mart Trail, and drummer Paul White. The band's song "See You in Hell" was featured in a memorable scene of the animated MTV series Beavis and Butt-Head where the duo mock the song and video. Enter to win tickets courtesy of Z93 here.
