Punk Legends Black Flag will play The Chance this Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7pm.
Black Flag formed out of Hermosa Beach, California in 1976. The band was established by guitarist, primary song writer Greg Ginn, who has been the sole continuous member of the band through multiple personnel changes. The band is widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands as well as one of the pioneers of post-hardcore.After breaking up in 1986, Black Flag reunited in 2003 and again in 2013. The second reunion lasted well over a year, and the band released their first new studio album in over in over two decades, What The ... (2013).
