Former Boston Singer Set to Play Ulster County Fair Sunday

Former Boston lead singer Fran Cosmo plays the Ulster County Fair in New Paltz this Sunday, Aug 4 at 5:30pm.

Fran Cosmo was singer in the rock band Orion the Hunter in the 80's, which was an offshoot of the band Boston featuring Boston members Barry Goudreau on guitar and Brad Delp on backing vocals. They released an album in 1984 and had a hit single called "So You Ran". The band went on to open for Aerosmith on tour in 1984. Fran Cosmo would join Boston in 1993 and remained with the band until 2006. He was the sole lead vocalist on the platinum selling Boston album Walk On (1994) which pruduced three hit singles including "I Need Your Love" and the title track, "Walk On". He also sang on the studio album Corporate America (2002).
