'Rocketman' Film Gets Standing O at Cannes Film Festival

The new Elton John biopic 'Rocketman' received an extended standing ovation last night after a screening at the Cannes Film Festival. The reception brought actor Taron Egerton -- who plays Elton -- to tears. Sir Elton himself was at the screening, and he appeared overjoyed at the audience's reaction.

'Rocketman' just might be a blockbuster along the lines of 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' Audience reception at early screenings has been positive. Elton John has adjusted his concert schedule to free himself up for Academy Award night early next year.

'Rocketman' opens in the U.K. on Wednesday and in the U.S.A. on Friday, May 31st.
