Trans-Siberian Orchestra will bring their 20th anniversary winter tour to Prudential Center in Newark, NJ this Saturday, Dec. 22 for two shows (3pm and 8pm).

Here's a great way to get into the holiday spirit! The Ghosts of Christmas Eve Tour featuring the best of TSO and more is presented by the Hallmark Channel. TSO was formed around 1993 by Paul O'Neill (a producer, composer and lyricist). He brought together Jon Oliva and Al Pitrelli (members of the metal band Savatage) along with Robert Kinkel (keyboardist and co-producer) to form the creative team. The band started to achieve popularity when they first started touring in 1999 following the release of the album, The Christmas Attic. The band has sold over 10 million tickets and 10 million albums, packing arenas every year. The Washington Post called them "an arena rock juggernaut" and described them as "Pink Floyd meets Yes and The Who at Radio City Music Hall." I remember seeing the band at Mid Hudson Civic Center in Pougkeepsie when they first started playing out and before they started playing big arenas. There are amazing musicians in this band including local, area guitarist Chris Caffery. It's a great show for the entire family. Don't miss it!
