Today (Nov. 6) is National Nachos Day.
According to National Day Calendar, National Nachos Day is observed annually to celebrate tortilla chips, covered in nacho cheese and served with salsa. The original nachos consisted of fried corn tortillas covered with melted cheese and sliced jalapeno peppers. Some favorite toppings for nachos include refried beans, ground beef, shredded beef, chicken, seafood, lettuce. tomatoes, black olives, sour cream and guacamole. One should observe the day by enjoying some nachos and using the #NationalNachoDay on social media.
