Dennis Hof, Nevada Brothel owner and reality tv star has died at the age of 72.

According to Huffington Post, Dennis Hof died Tuesday. No other info was available. Hof was running for the Nevada state's assemblyman seat as Republican. Hof was best known as a star of the HBO series Cathouse as the owner of many legal brothels in Nevada including the Moonlight BunnyRanch in Carson City. He was best selling author of the autobiography "The Art of the Pimp" and he lectured at Oxford University in England, Trinity College in Ireland and the Sorbonne University in France.  I'm actually friends with Dennis on Facebook and just wished him a happy birthday two days ago. I'll always remember him from his many appearances on the Howard Stern Show over the years. Rest easy Mr. Hof.
