Happy Birthday today (Sept. 28) to former Dokken, current Lynch Mob guitarist George Lynch. He's 64. Also celebrating is Rob Zombie drummer Ginger Fish (53).
George Lynch is considered to be among the most influential and popular metal guitarists of the 1980's. He reached stardom in the 80's as lead guitarist for Dokken. Dokken achieved success with a string of hit singles and albums. Songs like "In My Dreams" and "Alone Again" were rock radio staples. Lynch would go on to have success with his own band Lynch Mob. The original classic lineup of Dokken reunited in 2016 for some shows in Japan and one U.S. show. The Japan shows were documented on a new cd/dvd release earlier this year called Return to the East Live which also included a new single called "It's Just Another Day".
