Construction crews are hard at work off Route 17 near Exit 125 in Goshen. Legoland New York is on schedule to open in the Spring of 2020. Yesterday, the folks from Legoland New York unveiled new details about what the 150-acre resort will offer.
Legoland New York will take visitors on a journey through eight themed lands:
The Factory -- where the adventure begins. The Great Lego Adventure Ride will be exclusive to the New York park and whisk visitors through the manufacturing process and into the box.
Bricktopia -- a land with no rules. Kids will work with Master Model Builders and test their own Lego creations.
Ninjago World -- where kids can master the art of Spinjitzu. Kids will try to defeat the Great Devourer using just their hands as weapons.
Heartlake City -- home of the balloon ride over Pineball Woods, another new ride exclusive to the New York park.
Knights' Kingdom -- home of the Lego Castle and the Dragon Coaster, not too big or scary for real little kids.
Lego City -- home of the Lego Driving School where kids can earn their official Legoland Driver's License.
Pirate Shores -- where kids can take a trip on the Rogue Wave Riders and do battle with water spouts and hungry beasts.
Miniland -- the heart of every Legoland Park, a massive panorama of Lego-built cities from across the country.
Legoland New York will also feature a 250-room hotel.
Hundreds of jobs will be available as the park nears their opening date. Keep an eye on the Legoland New York website, linked here, for job openings.
