Fanatics can be a tough thing to deal with. I believe there is a difference in a fan and a fanatic. I think the Fan is somebody who likes it vs the fanatic that submerges themselves in what they love and there is no other life style. Case in point. Two brothers were out in Vegas last week for some playoff football. One brother lost his mind when the cowboys lost and started fighting with his own brother over it. Their friends were able to break it up, but later he returned for more and to be heard and that is when the other brother feared for his life and stabbed him. This is truly a sad situation and it is all over a football game. Read more here.
