Happy Birthday today (June 28) to Evanescence bassist Tim McCord. He's 40. Also celebrating is former Nine Inch Nails keyboardist Charlie Clouser (56). Clouser was a member of Nine Inch Nails from 1994-2000.
Tim McCord is the current bassist for Evanescence having joined the band in 2006 as a replacement for bassist Will Boyd. Evanescence formed out of Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 and they released their first Fallen in 2003 on Wind-up Records. The album sold 17 million copies worldwide, earning the band two Grammy Awards. A platinum selling live album, Anywhere but Here was released in 2004 followed by the band's second studio album The Open Door in 2006. The album would sell over 5 million copies. The band would see several lineup changes up until the release of their third studio album, 2011's Evanescence. The band's last album Synthesisis was released in 2017.
