National Doughnut Day Round 2

Happy National Doughnut Day. A day so important it's celebrated twice a year.

According to National Day Calendar, doughnut lovers celebrate the doughnut twice a year (The first Friday in June, and on Nov. 5). National Doughnut Day was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served doughnuts to soldiers during Word War I . Many coffee shops and bakeries in the U.S. offer deals to their customers on these special days including free doughnuts. Places like Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme, and Cumberlad Farms are among the business that have been known to participate in the big day. You should celebrate by enjoying your favorite doughnut. See ya at the local pastry shop today. What's your favorite doughnut?
