Singer/guitarist Kip Winger plays an acoustic show at Daryl's House in Pawling this Saturday night, Oct. 27 at 8pm.
80's hair metal rockers Winger had two platinum selling albums with Winger and In the Heart of the Young with hit singles like "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak", and "Miles Away". The band had chart success in the early 1990's and were even nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band". The band broke up after the release of their third album, 1993's Pull but eventually reunited in 2001. Winger continues to tour and record, while Kip Winger splits his time between the band and a solo career that includes acoustic shows. I've seen Kip Winger solo shows over the years and they are great! The guy is a very talented singer, musician and songwriter. Don't miss this show Saturday night!
