Happy Birthday today (Dec. 7) to Nita Strauss. The current Alice Cooper guitarist is 32.
Nita is best known for her work as guitarist in Alice Cooper's band, having replaced Orianthi in June of 2014. She is also known for her time in the all-female Iron Maiden tribute band The Iron Maidens. Guitar World ranked her number 1 on their list of '10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know'. Strauss appeared in the 2016 documentary "Hired Gun: Out of the Shadow, Into the Spotlight", which details the stories of the world's unsung music industry heroes who toured and recorded with rock legends such as : Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Ozzy Osbourne and more. She recently released her debut solo album Controlled Chaos. Cheers to Nita Strauss on her birthday today!
