The band Ghost's theatrics are said to have been influenced by Kiss, David Bowie, and Alice Cooper but a band member said they are more influenced by Pink Floyd. The band’s sound has been described by a friend as Blue Oyster Cult meets King Diamond and Mercyful Fate. The band won a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song "Cirice" off their album Meliora. I've had the chance to see Ghost a few times over the years, including a couple years ago at the Palace. We're totally looking forward to their return.
