Today (Oct. 4) is National Vodka Day.
The official National Vodka Day website describes this special day as a chance to toast the many flavors and recipes that makes Vodka the world’s favorite spirit. While the occasion is celebrated on Oct. 4, the site says “we have not found the origin of why, but it works for us.”
If you don't know me, you wouldn't know that vodka is my favorite liquor. My primary vodka drink is vodka and club soda, but I've been known to mix it up by adding a splash orange, grapefruit, pineapple or cranberry juice. When I'm not in the mood for juice, the occasional vodka and Sprite works for me. I also love a good Bloody Mary. Enjoy, but drink responsibly today!
